Coventry lights, in the underpasses and on the ring-road, have a certain yellow glow. They turn everything a golden sepia colour and I can’t get enough of the contrasts. I remember being half asleep in the back of my dads car, staring up at the road lights flickering. Maybe I keep trying to capture that feeling.

A lonely shadow, hands pocketed, footsteps echoing.

Coventry Train Station

A lot of people you talk to in Coventry really don’t like the train station. I love it. The architecture mirrors properties in the City, the wood effect on the ceiling you’ll find in the precinct. The open, airy granite entrance and light bright glass structure is modern and stylish. With a bit of loving care it could be a real gem.
