TEXT: The beach was backed by a bulk of solid wave, a weathered grey mass. Leaning into it’s curve, the cold wall steadied her spine as the sea spray salted her skin. Sunlight was shimmering at one end, and the warmth would be with her soon when the light moved to her. She waited, her hands open against the pitted stone. Eyes closed, she wanted to sense the movement without sight.
The shape on these waterfront flats at Bristol remind me of rocket lollies.
Eaton House Coventry, taken from Coventry train station. Built in the 70’s, this office block has blue tinted windows. It looks like the building has swallowed the sky on a bright spring day, always looked striking in the right light. Love the shapes the shadows make on the left.
