This was taken on a cold, drab day. Little blocks of sunshine on Great Arthur House near the Barbican. This was apparently the highest block of flats in England when it was constructed and is presently Grade II Listed.
Barbican Launderette on a grey September day, a window into a waiting world.
Barbican House is just up the road from it’s more famous architectural monolith name sake. I couldn’t walk past without taking a snap, I have a thing for rounded off windows and fabulous fonts.
Another washed out photo from the Barbican, I wanted them to look this cold, to help focus on the architectural lines.
I could have done a landscape without the wall jutting into the foreground, but for some reason the sharp concrete invasion works, for me anyhow. This place is great for images.
