Design on the now closed Co-op wall, one of a few but this is my favourite. A clean modernist shape showing rebuilding, fits in with the time it was constructed in Coventry.
Heavy over Corbusier Haus.
TEXT: The beach was backed by a bulk of solid wave, a weathered grey mass. Leaning into it’s curve, the cold wall steadied her spine as the sea spray salted her skin. Sunlight was shimmering at one end, and the warmth would be with her soon when the light moved to her. She waited, her hands open against the pitted stone. Eyes closed, she wanted to sense the movement without sight.
